I haven't posted anything for a while. I haven't dropped off the face of the earth, I promise. I have been pretty busy with real life, but that is really no excuse. I haven't written any new songs in a while and I am sure everyone is tired of hearing the old ones. I worked on some stuff this afternoon for the first time in a long time. It was harder than I remember. I think my standards are a little higher now also. I really regret some of the clunker lines in some of my older songs. At any rate I was reading some William Carlos Williams this afternoon, and some Keats. I think I have decided that I can't steal much from either. I will look to other sources. I have stolen all I can steal from Melville. The search continues.

Pavement Fans: check out the band Hockey Night.

I saw them play last weekend and they were great. The cd is great but the live show is much better.

Check it out. Sorry was number 12 over the weekend at mp3tunes.com. Update: Looks like the song has dropped to number 15. Not bad though.

Thanks to the glory of CD Baby: a little CD store with the best new independent music, iTunes, and SOMA FM, I am still making money off of the two records. Amazing. I made close to forty bucks last month. I have made almost $100 from people downloading songs off iTunes. Crazy. I make $.65 every time anyone downloads a song for $.99. Love the downloading. Love it. I don't even have to press more cds.
