Listened to the "flat" basic tracks last night. Chris, Josh and I listened through the songs last night during a huge thunderstorm. Josh is going to do his parts while I am in California.

Bad news from Spain, here is the gist of the email:

"I haven't made any progress with the label and probably won't for the moment. I have some new bands coming out which I am concentrating all my efforts and a large amount of my time to. they are both electronic artist and that is something I would like to develop within the label. As for the Cosigner project, I am still naturally interested, nothing has changed there, but I just won't be able to do anything (ie, edit the record) for a while and almost certainly not this year. This really is why I haven't sent the contract to you. I felt it would be unfair to tie you to something that may not happen for a while yet, that way we still have the freedom to think about it and decide to take it up at a later date."

So, no Spanish release for Center Rise Solo this year.

Also, bought preservation act part 1 and 2. 1 is worth buying.

Did some vocals. Switched guitar amps. Fender sounds better.

New Grandaddy is good as well.

Steve and I are planning to go in Friday and do more acoustic, rhythm electric.
Heard a great album from Steve recently called girls can tell by Spoon. Terrific.
Our most recent song, Would I miss you?, made it onto the line-up for the album. I'm
really psyched about that one. Feels like a fresh mix of Yo La Tengo and a subdued
Thurston Moore meets Television kind of song. Angie has a great drum part for it.
Also, Soft Drowsy Song is a bit different. It's a bit more endearing to me now because
we changed the drums around.

did the acoustic tracks tonight. Sounds good. Josh and I might go in Friday. Sold some cd's on cdbaby. Haven't heard from Spain.
